He is the best since Reeve no doubt. He looked like the Bryne Superman come to life in many ways. I would love to see him in the older (Classic) suit if only once to see just how close he truly does come to the Bryne drawing.

I've seen some really great photomanips out there. He looks pretty good.

However, sometimes I can hear a british accent sometimes. But it was fine.

Hm! I don't remember hearing anything. But I'll take your word for it. Either way it wasn't pronounced enough to be a problem.

I can imagine how this would've played out in the movie...

    photoshake_137671547142401_zpsb7b67310 (2).jpg

Lois Lane: I can see your underwear.
Superman: It's not underwear. On my world they're fashionable trunks.
Lois Lane: [smiles] Well, here it's underwear. How about you wear those on the inside, like the rest of us?

Superman: Very well, when on Earth...

Darn right it does! I've seen some cool music vids sent to that song. Including a great one for Kill La Kill. Try and find that one if you can, as well as enjoy the anime.

So I bought the Blu-ray the other day and I was not disappointed. Sure I had seen the movie back when it first came out but nothing compares to watching it in the comfort of your own home. Aside from the film itself, which I loved, the special features are amazing. Having the 75th anniversary short to watch at anytime is just icing on the cake for me.

Naw, that was a Kryptonian accent seeping through. Like in Doctor Who, they go with the idea that aliens are really British rather than American. Superman is an immigrant, after all.
    Power with Girl is better.

I could see him pulling off the Golden Age Superman in terms of looks although he's more muscular than any portrayal from that era could have been.

I really enjoyed the movie. I would say that I go as far as cautiously loved it. I had some major problems, but mostly with how certain scenes were handled. Jonathon's death just made no logical sense to me, and I think Amy Adams is passable at best for Lois Lane. I actually think Faora's actress, Antje Traue, would have made a superior Lois. Also, they should have cut out the entire beginning portion on Krypton. Jor-El's awesome sequence where he explains to his son the history of his people could have been rewritten to cover all that information. Instead, it felt redundant.

That said, I found more of the movie I loved. The flight scene was flawless, we finally see what Superman is really capable of on the big screen, and Cavill makes a wonderful Superman. I also loved the alternate take on Jonathon and Zod. Jonathon in particular really felt like a man who was struggling to deal with how to raise a boy with incredible powers. Up until the nonsensical death, I was loving the performance.

As for Zod's death... I really like it. The more I thought about it, the more I liked how they didn't give Superman an easy out. He was faced with an difficult ethical choice, forced to make a heartbreaking action.
    Life is but a dream
