Batman's armor has a The Dark Knight Returns/Miller look. It could be a throw-off but why should it be? I expect the fight to happen in the same way just not for the same (but similar) reasons. One of Affleck's lines is from the comic as well. From the Suicide Squad Joker I get the same David Bowie/ThinwhiteDuke/Miller version vibes.

Jeez, I assumed it was gonna be the "hand at your throat" "I want you to remember" scene from TDKR. It's been really obvious from the past trailers Supes gets depowered at some point, wasn't really annoyed by that. Originally Posted by Prime

So I'm thinking, Batman's armor is laced with Kryptonite. Which explains why it takes a little bit (seemingly) for Supes to weaken.

That tub scene looks adorable. Glad to see we're getting moments like this.
I don't think the final shot is anything to worry about. The film wouldn't be much of a thing if Batman didn't get some licks in. Doesn't mean he's going to win, and of the two, he's the one being painted as the less sympathetic antagonist. Affleck describing Bruce's mindset as being close to Dick Chaney's pretty much told us all we need to know. Originally Posted by Prime
