I'd only be surprised if the solicit had been 2 books for the month.

Since they've limped along the last half of 2022 I'm not the only one feeling that 2023 the final shoe will drop, right?
They either close up shop and/or file bankruptcy OR someone swoops in buys them out and a restructure happens and we keep getting 1 book a month till 2024. At that point we will know if Valiant is still a thing or just absorbed into another thing.

I really like the art. I'd love to have VALIANT pull out of this nose dive of one book a month and get financially back on track with solid management.

I'm just picking up Book of Shadows in February.

Bloodshot Unleased #4 felt very anticlimatic for me. I had really enjoyed the plot device in the prior 3 issues. The final battle with the last rogue "Project" came off as weak and didn't add anything interesting or exciting.

I will be picking up X-O Manowar #1, it can't be any worse than the Hopeless run of 9 issues that came before it.

I'm just picking up Book of Shadows in February.

So you're getting everything Valiant is putting out in February like me.

Book of Shadows issue 3 was decent.


I'm hoping they could out something like Warren Ellis's the Wild Storm.

I read Book of Shadows #3 last night also. I enjoyed Gilad's exchange with Mirage. Their connections with family as a touchstone was a good character moment.
I liked his anyalsis that Punk is/was having an affect on Mirage being more "take charge", to which she disputed.

Persephone is going to be their downfall or not??

This is the third time. Acclaim bought the original Valiant and rebooted the universe back in the '90s. IMO, it was terrible.
