One of the best things Valiant did back in the day was the Valiant Handbook.

I've always been amazed that no one has done anything like that again, esp current Valiant.

Sell it for $ 1 and I'll bet tons of potentials would give it a shot.

Text, maps, reprints of select panels, etc.

does anyone think Shadowman will actually appear in "The Valiant"? i'm asking because he's appearing in the alternate cover for #2 (the one drawn by Lemire himself).

Rivera posted an image of Shadowman on Twitter that may/may not be interior art. Oddly enough, it was the pre-Milligan version.

If its the one I am looking at, it has the colors of him, but that I hope is not Shadowman.

Thanks! He draws a great Shadowman. Also, looks like he answers that it is in The Valiant. So now I have 2 awesome reasons to pick that series up haha.

Shadowman's on the Kindt/Lemire variant for #2, and they've said almost every major character in VU makes an appearance in the book!

i hope they touch base with Shadowman, enough to do away with all of Milligan's nonsense plot lines at least. and then perhaps leave the door open for Lemire to take over the character down the line.
