This is just for fun, but I'd like to hear suggestions on what you would name a team comprised of Loki, Magneto, Rogue, Thor, Hulk, Nightcrawler, Dr. Doom, and Captain Marvel (Carol). Loki and Doom are in charge.

I can't come up with anything, since there aren't really many connecting threads between them. Variations on existing Marvel names are welcome, as well as shots in the dark / bolts from the blue.

hmm. . ok, you asked, I'd call the team "Psyche"

and the reasoning behind it: the Psyche, as identified by Freud is made up of 3 sections, the ID, the Ego, and the Super-Ego.

ID: The id is the unorganized part of the personality structure that contains a human's basic, instinctual drives
Hulk
Rogue (tho she now has better control of her powers).

Ego: The ego acts according to the reality principle; i.e. it seeks to please the id's drive in realistic ways that will benefit in the long term rather than bring grief. (in other words, these are the schemers, the planners)
Magneto
Loki
Dr. Doom
Captain Marvel

Super-Ego: The superego reflects the internalization of cultural rules, mainly taught by parents applying their guidance and influence.

Nightcrawler (if we count his religion as an internalization of cultural rules)
