Because by my reckoning, he's in his late twenties at most by this point, compared to the mid-to-late thirties that I always took his pre-reboot self to be, and I think one thing that's noticeable about his Zero Year depiction is that he does come across AS a young man(being a bit brash and reckless, and cussing villains out occasionally), whereas his only five years later incarnation is much more mature and is just as brooding and cynical(except when it comes to being more open minded about the supernatural now) as he was before Flashpoint. Is there room to try to examine what a Batman this age is like, what the Bruce Wayne persona would be like, or has 4 Robins (including a son) and other factors pretty much solidified him as having grown into what he is too much?
