    Everyone’s list is going to be different, the article writer makes no claim to anything but personal preference, and from several years ago too.
    I’d swap Rogue for Jean in my top five (though Rogue is still in my top ten).

    I recall when this list came out. Lists are very subjective but Jean at 30 is sort of wild. Though at the time she had been dead for awhile. I think most lists now would have her certainly in the top 10 and most likely in the top 5 imo. I like how the Jean category included Marvel Girl, Phoenix, and Maddie.

    Gets my ire for dissing the X-Men 2099. Shakes fist! Krystalin and Meanstreak and Xian Chi Xan (and those other yobs, I guess...) deserve better!

    But I laughed when he rated *Widget* higher than X-23.

    Honestly haven't ever really understood the Rogue and Nightcrawler hype.

    Not that I dislike them; but I wouldn't put them up with Storm and the rest.
