"Secret Wars" Rages on with "Spider-Island," "Siege" & More in Marvel's July 2015 Solicitations

Wow, it's hard to argue against the awesomeness that Marvel is putting in these solicitations with the Secret Wars stuff.

I'm confused a little bit by some of these solicitations, as a number of MU books don't look like they're carrying the Last Days banner or have anything to do with Secret Wars. So how do they fit into Marvel's publishing plans?

I just think of it as these stories are all taking place before Secret Wars and the final incursion happened. I'm sure they'll be released with new post-Secret Wars #1 issues when Marvel launches all their new #1s during All-New Marvel in September.

Did they just give away who the ruler of Battleword is?? if you read the solicitation for SHIELD, It says that whomever annoys Doom gets send to the shield. So is Doom the overlord of Battleword???

I'm excited about Secret Wars and how that will pan out. But I'm even more excited about the prospect of Ms. Marvel and Captain Marvel finally teaming up. That's a story that can be epic in ways that Secret Wars can never match.

It amazes me how so many people are having trouble understanding the concept of the pauses/cancelled titles right now.

Marvel was pretty clear: this is a lot like Age of Apocalypse. There are a great deal of titles being "cancelled" for the duration of Secret Wars. Some will return, some will not, but something being on the "cancelled" list does not necessarily mean that it's gone. They were quite clear about this when they actually put out said list.

Yeah not too huge of a reveal... Rabum Alal has either been building Battleworld or he puts one over on the Beyonders. Also a great homage to the original SW series.

But what is the deal with the repeat on sw4 & 5 cover???
