Retcons are sometimes a necessary evil in comic books. Not all of them are well-written, so what is the worst retcon you've seen? I think for me it'd be that Xorn was Magneto...and then he was a dude who just thought he was Magneto.

The retcon that made Adam Warlock go from being the size of a planet back to being normal size was pretty stupid and badly written.
Actually Adam Warlock becoming the size of a planet was also really stupid.
I like the retcon I just wish it would have been written better.
Oh well stupid plot points get stupid retcons I guess. At least it provides great laughter entertainment.

Xavier has suffered horrible retcon after retcon but Deadly Genesis is by far the worst and most unforgivable. Force training mutants, sending them to their slaughter, erasing everyone else's memories of the dead X-Men's existence? Making people forget their own brother ever existed? Just plain old evil, Chuck.
