Glad to see Smallville getting some recognition!
"My heart is tied to the fate of yours. The only test of strength that will ever truly challenge me, is to be vulnerable next to you. To trust...you." - For Lois (Shane Koyczan)
Superman (DC Comics) is all about juggling extremes --- very ominous villains (i.e., Nuclear Man), unbelievable catastrophes, incredible city activity, amazing feats, etc.
"Smallville" is a magnification of what makes Superman so unique --- his ability to ground himself despite the anticipations of chaos or trouble.
Clark Kent will go on to become a mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet in Metropolis. Until then, his activities in Smallville remind us that Kal-El is destined one day to tackle the likes of Brainiac and Doomsday.

Did you all know that Amy Adams made an appearance on Smallville? My uncle used to watch this show back in the day and he has the collection. He let me borrow it and I’m watching it now, I’m on season 1 episode 7 “Cravings” and she’s in it. That was a nice surprise.
This show is not bad. It's interesting that Clark and Lex were friends. I’m enjoying it. Looking forward to see how they become enemies.
Started watching Smallville during this last summer and I am finally on season 10. I didn't manage to watch the series when it was actually on the air and wanted to rectify that. I absolutely love this series now and I will be sad when I finish the last episode. I'm already missing Chloe who has gone from regular cast member to guest appearances.

Has Smallville season 11 been completely collected in trade yet?
I wish you could buy the whole series on blu ray. I am spoiled away from DVD but I don't wish to own it half and half.
Sorry to necro an old thread, but the quoted question was asked almost a year & a half ago, and DC still hasn't released the final volume of Smallville: Season 11. I just picked up vols 1-8, and was disappointed to find out there is no #9.
Has anyone heard anything about this? Did DC decide to completely junk the collecting of the series due to sales or something? I'd like to read the whole story without having to buy the digital copies.

Every post I make, it should be assumed by the reader that the following statement is attached: "It's all subjective. What works for me doesn't necessarily work for you, and vice versa, and that's ok. You may have a different opinion on it, but this is mine. That's the wonderful thing about being a comics fan, it's all subjective."
I haven't read past the first meeting with Batman, so I don't know how volume 8 ends.
Well I'll be damned...I've searched & not been able to find it lol Must be a new listing.
This is great, thank you!
Edit: I think my inability to find it was due to my search words...I was unaware they had removed the "Season 11" branding and just called it Smallville.
