Yup. I was very surprised to see her. Definitely I wasn't expecting that, or the twist about the yellow lantern rings.

As usual Smallville being one of the better Superman related titles out there along with Pak's Action Comics.

I enjoy SMALLVILLE, but I do think the book is getting too wrapped up in other DC characters.

I agree, they need to give their own characters some limelight. I don't know if DC comics has input in this comic or what, but BQM needs to give his own characters from the show some meaty stuff, too much time spent is being spent on other DC characters.

I'm pretty sure the next arc after "Lantern" concludes will feature more of the core cast and less of the expanded universe. "Chaos" starts in July.

Yup, I think it's just getting everything ready for the 'crisis', so that's why the comic is introducing other characters. I'm really excited for Chaos.

Clark, Lois, Chloe, Ollie, Lex and Tess have all been prominent, and Lana even showed up in a special, so I'm satisfied. Part of the appeal of continuing the series as a comic for me was getting to see Smallvilles Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern Corps, etc.

I agree. And the last panels with Lex...wow.

Sounds really interesting! Excited to see what will happen.
