This was a great storyline and really solidified my appreciation and like for Orm. I think he is a great foe/rival for Aquaman and really like this rebooted take on the character. I also think his new look is his best look yet. I hope he continues to be a reoccurring/supporting character within the pages of Aquaman.

as much as i enjoyed that series run, i would rather have arthur keep both of his hands. i prefer the trident better.

Don't worry, the artist confirmed on his twitter that Aquaman will look very different BUT he will have both hands and judging by the 41 cover the Trident.
As long as Aquaman has

1) The Trident (no Trident borders on dealbreaker)
2) The A logo somewhere on his uniform (preferably the belt)
3) Both hands (that's confirmed)

I'm fine even if he looks exactly like Momoa (not that I wish it).

I'm totally fine with the Momoa look and look forward to watching him wreck everyone and everything.
It has the three things that I mentioned above + blonde highlights, so that his royal heritage and telepathy can be explained.

I don't care if he has a beard or not, short or long hair or anything else.
The trident is there, the a logo is there and he has both hands. I'm 100% on board with that look, as long as he is a likeable and powerful character.

Yeah it was strange, it was basically a movie within in a movie type thing (see the trailer and you will know what I mean), and the director in the movie directed an Aquaman movie, guess it is just WB's idea of teasing lol, and it is working!
