You can find it on youtube. Akiba's Trip is awesome, it seems every episode they pick on a particular species of "otaku".

Also, in the days leading up to the start of the series, I saw these in various places around Akihabara. Coincidentally, I snapped these pics just outside of Yodobashi:

    UQ Holder 133:

The gang gets their asses kicked, and Nodoka forces Kirie to confess her feelings since her book trumps all tsundere denial. Kirie is brutally tortured by Cutlass and has all her cyanide capsule teeth removed to prevent a reset, but then its revealed that the gang managed to last 37 seconds, which is exactly the time they needed to implement the plan they made in the Astral Realm.

We were never shown the actual plan details beyond it taking 37 seconds, and the one panel of hint we get doesn't provide a concrete answer, but...I think they're summoning Asuna?

    Don't doubt the scientist! hehe

Every time I watch I find myself laughing at even the not so obvious stuff, just because I know the types that prowl Akiba (including my own type).

Any show that embraces the absurd always hold a special place.

Also I love the character designs. Whoever thought of giving her a resting smug face is a genius.

On my bi-weekly visit to Akihabara (Akiba Trip, if you will), I saw this:

So is that town like a nerd haven, has a little something for everyone?

That's a pretty good description. The only people I've known that don't like Akihabara are the boring ones.

Coincidentally at this time my friends are debating whether to take me to a maid café in Akiba or the Tokyo burlesque show in Roppongi on my birthday this week...

Maid cafe...ho hum...surprisingly, my vote would go to Tokyo Burlesque! Let us know which you picked.

Some sad news, maybe already well known to some of you, but Jiro Taniguchi (The Lonely Gourmet, The Summit of the Gods, and a contributor to the Louvre manga series) died Saturday 11 February aged 69.

So, I just got the 16th volume of Food Wars (aka Shokugeki no Soma for the purists).

Um . . . is it just me or does Erina Nakiri's father seem like Dracula? I'm definitely getting a strong Dracula vibe from this guy.

    Sounds like an awesome place.

Ah, the timeless question - Maids or Dancers. Such is the burden that we must bare.

Also happy birthday. Remember to play it cool in front of the maid
