Bota was obviously garbage, but there were some ok moments along the way. Its certainly not going to be revered though. Especially the last like... 6-8 months has been pretty weak.

Secret Wars takes place 8 months after the end of every current Marvel stpry arc. None ofnit actually matters. Weve already seen Cyclops leading the mutant nation and harboring a phoenix egg. Anything Bendis does is irrelevant to where Secret Wars is at.
