Superman without Clark Kent?

As you probably know, Superman's identity will be public knowledge post convergence. My question is, "what will Superman be like without Clark Kent?" With his cover blown it seems like it's the end of Clark Kent. I always felt that he kept the Clark identity after finding out his true heritage in order to stay human, to stay close to his "fellow" man and to make sure he was never absorbed by his near god like powers. Do you think losing his human persona could effect him negatively in this way?

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure if it'd count as real diamonds or synthetic in terms of price. I also didn't consider where'd he sell them or exchange them for cash, since bartering diamonds for groceries would be tricky. Still, it's a valid source of income. Unless you need a license to deal with diamonds, I'm not really a jeweler.

I didn't know that Superman's identity will be public knowledge... well... It's ok by me... first the underpants were gone and that was really necessary if you ask me. And now the glass will get out of the picture. I like Clark Kent and all but that no one recognizes that he's Superman when he puts on the glass part going out of the picture is kind of ok by me. He can be 24/7 Superman... ıt's not like he will be tired or he needs money, he is Superman.

Plus, he doesn't really need to eat. Nor does he need health care.

So, living, food and medical bills are taken care of.

Superman doesn't need food? Seriously? That is so ugh...

Cash on hand never hurts. Electric bill, water bill, Netflix subscription, the occasional need to buy an appliance/device like a TV or smartphone, eat when he does want to need or not, go on a date, see a movie (what would he go to the theater to see?), and so forth. He might not need cash to survive, but he's still a regular guy at the end of the day despite his powers, there's stuff he just wants.

More for calling other people without flying to see them every time, or if he doesn't want to be in a fortress all the time. And does the fortress get all the channels really? Internet and all that too? Cell reception?

Superman without Clark Kent isn't Superman. At least not the style of Superman made by Siegel and Shuster. Hope they get enough new fans to enjoy it, because their old supporters aren't going to.
