I wish I could say I was more excited about this.

I'm not sure ANYONE is excited for this.

I also wonder if Miller is capable of working on something this big anymore. Or they are just using his name.

Well, I hope it has an enjoyable story that is not nihilistic. But I'm sure there will be some random terrorists and Occupy protestors thrown in for beat-down fodder.

I am gigantically excited for it. Miller + Azzarello is like a dream come true. DKR and Azzarello's "Joker" one-shot are two of my favourite things in superhero comics.

Of course, DKR III might end up like mixing two great but incompatible things, like spaghetti and ice cream. But I seriously hope not.

It's Azzarello that will be doing most of the writing so I'm down.

    He's probably scripting from Miller's outlines/plotting.

Miller not doing the art is the big downfall here. I understand why he's not, but that would be the selling point for me.

Well, I'm definitely buying it. I'm glad Azzarello is involved.

Seeing Frank Miller and "master race" anywhere near each other is incredibly off-putting.

But I love Azzarello? I'm torn.

I'm just imagining Frank Miller's DC take on Wacky Races.

I wouldn't say I'm excited but I'm sure I'll get it. Good or bad, I think it's safe to say it will be...interesting.

I almost want to say that this is a self-parody.

This would have been exciting 20 years ago, but my gut feeling on reading about this is that it will be dismal. Of course that's not fair and is only an emotional reaction because the work will speak for itself. My gut reaction though comes from the perception that the abyss that Miller seems to dwell in now can't possibly produce anything I would want to read. Will this even see the light of day? I have no ill will for this project, however it brings more trepidation than any other feeling to me personally.

I'm not worried. Azzarello is really good at grounding real world stuff in his stories.

Could actually make for a cool meta story.

Either way. I'm very much looking forward reading it.
