some of the first young mutants Julio encounter were Rusty, Skids, Artie, Leech, Wiz Kid and Boom Boom.
Rictor sure had a rough beginning in comics.

An old panel (the full page body-language is brilliant, but I can't find the scan) from TNM Annual #5, that highly hilarious story (in spite of my dislike of Boom Boom) drawn by great Bogdanove and written by his also great wife.

Favorite gay mutant (since its a hot topic right now).
I love that while many superheroes grow out of their awkward phase, Rictor's awkward phase now just has more facial hair. <3

I'm not saying that he's not gay or bi or whatever now I'm only meaning that on that battleworld is from a time before they made him gay or bi so last I checked it's not certain that he is in that version.
