Default Would you wan't a X-MEN RPG from BioWare?

We haven't had a decent X-MEN game sense X-MEN Legends 2. I think it's time to bring them. I think a action RPG in the vein of Dragon Age and Mass Effect would be really great. Have you be a new student and the Xavier Institute, you'd be able to pick a unique origin, (escaped Weapon X victim, survivor of a destroyed Genosha,). I like the idea of picking a power set that branches out as you play, (energy manipulation, telepathy/telekinesis, bestial abilities). And of course the ability to choose how your character looks.

What do you think? Would you like this game?

No. BioWare can't even pull off half descent gameplay, would hate to see them try and do something with the X-Men or Marvel characters. Now, I could love to see Capcom do something with them. Get Hideaki Itsuno and the Dragon's Dogma team on it, that gameplay would be prefect...being about to climb around on giant Sentinels would be great.

You say that, but you could get even worse BioWare combat.

Hell no! Gameplay in Bioware games are half-baked and the RPG elements barely affect anything. The studio's trademark morality system is laughably bad compared to the original Fallout games and the Witcher that take a steaming pile all over it. I would like to see Obsidian turn a licensed property into an RPG over anyone else.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine was pretty good, even though its RPG elements were mild at best. I'd make a good starting point for an Arkham-Style Wolverine franchise taking place in Madripoor, Tokyo, etc... I dunno if I'd trust Activision with that kind of project, though.

Oddly enough, I think Sony's InFamous makes it the best bet to make a good Jubilee game, though marketing it would be tricky.

Now that I think of it, I'd pay good money for an X-Men RPG by Nintendo starting Professor X, in the style of a Pokemon game.

An X-Men RPG would be cool. I wouldn't want to see it done by Bioware, though...

Do not care who makes it, as long as it is good.

It wouldn't be good if it was made by BioWare. They can't do action, and that goes double for action where characters need to hit things. They also aren't good at level design either.

I wouldn't mind a Days of Future Origin where you're from the Future and get dragged to the past with Rachel because of the Phoenix. Create a character, obviously, with you picking Mutations at the start and unlocking new ones later via progressing the story.

    Romance

    Female love interests

    Rachel - Bi
    Psylocke - Straight
    Storm - Straight
    Karma - Lesbian

    Male Love Interests

    Wolverine - Bi
    Nightcrawler - Straight
    Iceman - Gay
    Angel - Straight

Scott and Jean are a couple so off-limits. Kitty too young. Course Karma may be too...

    This would print money.

And this is exactly why I wouldn't want to see this done by Bioware. No depth or complexity to the game but boy-oh-boy, look at all these love interests.

Hey, BioWare makes the deepest mainstream dating sims put out by a major publisher. Sure they're the only ones, but whatever.

All I want to do is BANG BANG BANG BANG.

You imply depth couldn't be added in with good story telling and fact is that create a character and romances are very important to the Bio ware fanbase which numbers the millions.
