    you had me at the cover. then lost me with the interiors.

    i blame the cover... by comparison, the interiors are quite lacking. no fault of mr. Cumming, the odds are just stacked against him.

    I hate that i feel that way.

    Its a great book. I was an original backer on Kickstarter and have the Cooke cover. There was just one small bit and I do mean a sentence that I did not like. I won't spoil it for anyone but it was a line that made me go: "Its the late 21st century in this book and people still think that when its been disproven for years now?" Its the fact it doesn't put a story about another alien race out to destroy humanity that really makes the book work.
