LOL, he is (as far as I know), but people are happy other popular X-men characters get to appear as well.

I understand the popularity, but I'm glad we are seeing lots of shots without him. I personally want to see Jean, Scott, Jube, and Kurt each have more screen time than Logan. That's not combined, but EACH one individually. Wolverine has solo films to shine in.
