Weird thing happened. I got a bunch of books I'd removed from my Amazon wishlist, and a load of books I'd put on my list have disappeared from the list without anyone buying them for me.

Just got back from Ollie's Discount store, they just bought in 19 truckloads of DC trades and hardcovers that they put out at extreme discount prices and came back with this haul...
I spent just under $200, the omnibus was $12.99, hardcovers form $4-7 and trades were $3-$4. Showcases were $3 each.
I think I am set for reading material for a while.

Not at the Ollie's I went to, but I did get an Unknown Soldier volume and the Men of War volume of Showcase. I've heard different Ollie's got different stock though, so it's possible some of the Sgt. Rock volumes were part of the deal somewhere. Originally Posted by Deathstroke

The Ollie's in town got a second shipment of DC trades in last week, so a second trip yielded another stack of trades, including some stuff I missed the first time around:
this morning, the wife and I were headed out towards Dayton and stopped in at a different Ollie's out that way, which had a number of books our local Ollie's didn't get, so picked up this stuff this morning:

I only read Trade Paperbacks over the past few years... and I've gotten away from "capes"... not that i still don't love a good superhero story... but these days I'm more into stories like 100 Bullets, Saga, Y The Last Man, Preacher, Locke & Key, The Boys, Transmetropolitan, DMZ, Sam & Twitch, Red Team, Etc...
