I was pretty surprised myself. It wasn't something I was particularly looking to get but when I saw the price cut savings, I figured I couldn't go wrong. Sadly, the chain has apparently shipped out all the books they had for this particular sale to the various stores so whatever my store has is it and there wasn't anything else I wanted to read.

Great stuff. The Ditko-Lee Strange run is my favorite Silver Age Marvel run.

Stopped by a used book store over in Yellow Springs this afternoon and they had some interesting comic related stuff so I picked up a few things...

a collection of Frank Frazetta's Johnny Comet (and Ace McCoy) strips that Eclipse had put out...

and a few interesting things I found in their dollar box...

Kyle Baker's King David and a trade collection of Prince Valiant strips form Blackthorne (plus a couple of mags, one a Frazetta cover and one a collection of comic strips)

and a Somerset Holmes GN, a GN by Bo Hampton called Verdilak I never knew of, and a GN by Tim Truman called Dragon Chiang I was unfamilar with as well (and a book on the creative process of comic artists, cartoonists and animators). I was intrigued, they were only a buck a piece, so I grabbed them...
