Picked up the first volume of Dirk Manning's Tales of Mr. Rhee this week...

I thoroughly enjoyed Nightmare World Vol. 1 by Dirk and his book/column collection Write or Wrong so decided to give this a looksee!

I haven't ready any rebirth books yet.

This will be my first Suicide Squad other than the one episode which crossed over with Justice League International back in the 80s though.

I'd recommend the John Ostrander trades because they are a little more sophisticated than the Rebirth version and the cast aside from Deadshot, Waller and Boomerang is totally different but I like Ostrander's guys more. Most fans and critics do.

I never really got on with Ostrander's writing, but I hear so much good stuff about that series that I'll definitely pick up the first TPB if I see it going cheap. I also picked up The Kents when I saw it cheap for the same reason and will get around to reading that at some point.

That I get but for me the 1st Ostrander trade is the worst of the bunch. There's too much fallout from an DC event where the Squad comes together for the 1st time and their 1st mission rubs me the wrong way. I'd consider skipping Vol.1 and getting Vol.2 Nightshade Odyssey

I'm not sure I can bring myself to skip the first volume, but I've give it some leeway in the knowledge that the second volume is better.

Tales of the Batman Gerry Conway Vol 1- such a pretty HC

New Super-Man (Vol 1) Made in China
What if China build its own superheroes within the current DC universe? A chinese JL written by Gene Luen Yang. Support it. I'd recommand it to fans of Giffen's JLI or Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man

"Batman from the 30's to the 70's"...got this from eBay recently. Seller stated it was from an estate sale. It looks as if it was never read.

Just backed Dirk Manning's kickstarter for Tales of Mr. Rhee Vol. 4 (which was finded in just over 3 hours).

In addition to the kickstarter exclusive hardcover for Vol. 4, I backed at a level to get the trades for:

Tales of Mr. Rhee Vol. 1-3
    Nightmare World Vol. 1-4
    Love Stories (To Die For)

Nice pick up on the Batman book. I just got the Shazam volume at an estate sale this summer and the Superman volume at a toy show in Spring of 2016. I'm still looking for an affordable copy of the Batman book.
