I got Farmhand Vol 1, written and drawn by Rob Guillory (artist of Chew) on sale from Comixology this weekend (they're having a YUGE Image sale; check it out!). Three issues in and it's pretty good. The writing isn't as zingy as John Layman's on Chew, but he's only new to writing, so let's see how he goes. Overall very enjoyable.

I picked up Savage Sword of Conan Volume 1 (that's the new Marvel Comics series version) and I picked up the For Better Or For Worse: The Complete Library Volume 3.

Picked up a few things at the hometown con this past weekend...
The first two volumes of the Hal Foster Tarzan strips....
a collection of Phantom strips from the 1930s and The Illustrated Harlan Ellison...
plus a couple of $5 trades from one of the dealers, a Silver Surfer Epic collection and a volume of the JLA series...
Most excited about getting the Foster Tarzans.

Half Price Books is having their coupon sale this week, and I stopped by and picked up a couple of volumes...
Vol. 1 of the Showcase collection of Unknown Soldier...
and a collection of the Batman daily newspaper strips from 1943-1946...
