Default Should the Iron Patriot continued after Norman was arrested in the Siege?

I don't read marvel on a regular basis. I'm reading X-Factor and Amazing Spider Man and the ultimate line but other than that I just don't have the money.

I don't know who is in the Iron Patriot armor now...is it Tony, Rhodey, Norman, or someone else entirely? Frankoy I hated when they made Rhodey Iron Patriot in the movie. I got it with Norman. He was a dirtbag who was playing on american's fears and patriotism following the secret invasion and it made sense that with both Iron Man and Captain America on the run American's needed a new hero to look up to. Hell even American Son made sense at the time.

But I saw that Iron Patriot has an on going comic and it got me to wondering. Should the concept have been ditched when Norman had has fall from grace?

Rhodey is currently the Iron Patriot. I think it's an interesting concept, both what Norman did (playing up the patriotism to an extreme) and how Rhodey's used it (essentially close to what Tony did not at all in the first Iron Man movie).

I think it'd be cool to keep it around as a mantle to adopt much like Crimson Dynamo. As far as giving it to Ultimate Tony and 616 Rhodey it has served its purpose to promote Iron Man 3, but I think especially in Rhodes' case unless it really ushers in a boost in prominence for the character (as it seems each revisiting of War Machine especially as a solo title tries something new to distinguish him, which keeps things interesting to me) then it'd be good to see him go back to War Machine in both comics and film.

I think the only person that should ever have worn that armour was Norman. The concept is intrinsically tied to him, making Rhodie Iron Patriot to ape the movies was a bad move.
