Sucks being a collectibles nerd at times lol. Her Storm, and the Silver Surfer gets all me moneys.
Ughhhh. Need that pog. Laminate that shiz.
**** is laminating even a thing anymore?
It's funny that Spurrier said that her past relationships wouldn't be the focus of her character and yet her past with the annoying faux Frenchman keeps coming up every issue...
As for the movies I'm almost afraid of what they'd do with her...
Their relationship doesnt keep coming up but they are interacting because they are on the same team. He never said that wouldnt happen.
Two characters can interact without it being him hitting on her all of the time and it always the two of them. It'd be like saying that on Cyclops' team that his past with Emma wouldn't come up only to have it come up every issue...
You really make it sound like every conversation is about their romance. And it's nearly 0% about that. EVA literally mentioned that he failed in his affections and Psylocke emasculated him and saved him, and you're.... complaining?
If your definition of "coming up", and source of unhappiness is something as small as it was in that issue, then you're just not going to be happy ever.
I'm complaining because my fear is that it won't stop at that and be left there. When Spurrier has Fantomex go elsewhere I wonder if he'll have Betsy react to it, hopefully she won't even notice or won't react strongly.
You must be a person full of fear.
Nope, it's just that in the comic world my fears have a way of coming true...and I'd rather they don't.
I'm pro Warren/Betsy and hate Fantomex but I haven't been bothered by any of the interactions between them...especially last issue. She basically made fun of him the whole time, didn't give a damn when he fell over in a pathetic heap and EVA said she rejected him. They're on the same team for the foreseeable future and I guess you have a right to be nervous but I'm going to trust Spurrier's word as everything's been fairly innocuous so far. I don't think it's a Remender situation where it was planned from day one that it would happen.
