So let's speculate on the hunt for wolverine: mistery in madripoor.

We know psylocke is a ( if not "the") central character, we know the story has a deeper impact on her than in other characters, we know magneto is somehow envolved and that betts will run into him.

What I think will happen. Psylocke will fall for the enemy in the first issue and somehow be manipulated ( hopefully she becomes Lady Mandarin once again for the duration of the mini). Magneto will have a stand against her, but won't kill her despite of her deeds in UXM, and that will be a slap in her face...

The thing also about Magneto doing anything to her would be that last I checked Magneto was shocked and surprised that she had killed him but he didn't seem to be angry at her or want revenge for it, more likely they'd both be after the same thing and they'd have to fight to see who got the prize or that Magneto wanted something and Betsy was in his way...but yeah simply being jobbed to Magneto would be bad...or being mind controlled or something like that would also be bad...

I dont think she did. Magneto let her win. It was part of his plan to make her think she killed him. Psylocke losing in battle to Magneto wouldnt be jobbing her. Its the more likely scenario of an actual match up between them

I don't think that Magneto let her win as when Elixir brought him back Magneto seemed genuinely surprised that Betsy had actually killed him, he seemed surprised that he had lost, nothing he said made it sound like he had let her win, more like he had not taken her threats seriously enough...that he hadn't thought that she'd actually go through with her threats against him but she did...

I don't think that Magneto let her win as when Elixir brought him back Magneto seemed genuinely surprised that Betsy had actually killed him, he seemed surprised that he had lost, nothing he said made it sound like he had let her win, more like he had not taken her threats seriously enough...that he hadn't thought that she'd actually go through with her threats against him but she did...

He was surprisd that she actually went through with it. His dialogue with Elixir suggested that he had already discussed it with him and of course it was awfully convenient how he was even with Exodus (even though we last saw him in Tibet) and show up right after Psylocke leaves when Magneto needed healing. That fight orchestrated to set Magneto up behind the shadows in Blue

Why was Elixir with Exodus? Makes no sense as a random coincidence. Magneto had him link up with Exodus for this. Josh mentions that his debt was repayed by doing this bc he was tasked to do a job. Josh nor Exodus were surprised to see Magneto dead. Magneto didnt name Psylocke by name but when he said "she really did it", Josh didnt inquire who bc he already knew what was going down.

But then again Magneto did seem genuinely surprised that Betsy had gone through with her threat, so maybe he had Elixir come just in case, and I thought that was how Elixir got there, Exodus teleported him there...and Elixir might not have asked as it wasn't the most important thing at that moment...

But why would Exodus teleport him there if he didnt know what was going to happen? You dont see how it doesnt make sense unless this was pre-planned?

Anyways, to bring it back to Psylocke, the set up in that issue was good but the follow up sucked and thats bc Bunn didnt have access to use her in Blue. Magneto being "dead" fell flat as was the reveal that he was alive in the Mojo crossover without Betsy there. Soule didnt touch up on her murder so there was no ramifications at all.
