I miss the Bunnlocke costume. It would have been nice to have it for another year.

Either she’s not in the movie at all, she’s going to do nothing for a few shots and get Phoenixed to death again, or some shape shifter is just going to use her form and that’s who Munn is really playing. Any other guesses?

Also, They exist to this day and we might have different ideas on womens' body sizes. Thicc is a spectrum. Also you can be curvy and not thick, there's a difference.
But her lower body is VERY Boyish. Still good art.

Have you never seen them back in the day?Attachment 71398

There were some who had more curves than others, no it wasn't the norm, but even in pictures where she wasn't drawn by Davis she had curves on her. I do prefer the thicker girls tho lol.
I have thick skin, don't care about the Patronizing tone. But Davis definitely had an influence on how I saw her. Especially since she was drawn much larger than the others because she was. They toned down her body a lot.

I always hated how they made her so short in the X-books. Here's a picture showing the team at the time at their real heights and weights.

Gisele's a little skinny to me. But Artist impression is a thing that influences us.

Models were relatively thicker back in the day, but more like 120 something on a 5”8 to 5”11. That’s still pretty thin. Models just had more of an hourglass shape back and the thin standard has become more extreme.

That said Psylocke is former model. A lot of models put on weight when they retire.

Joao Pinto just published this in the Psylocke Blog I'm in. I love this suit.
    I'll quote his words.

Hi guys! I'm not a big fan of Psylocke's new costume so I decided to make a new design myself. I think Betsy in her British body should have a classic Hollywood type of beauty. I just think it fits her whole background — with Psylocke.

Love it! The costume, face and hair are all A+. She looks like Lauren Bacall, which is fitting because Betsy Braddock always sounded like it could be a 40’s movie star’s name. ⭐️

Beautiful design. It's always nice to see an artist who understands how clothes work.

It looks nice but doesn't seem very practical in a fight...

You have a point. That's true for all capes/cloaks, though.

Unless it was bulletproof or something or she could take it off in a flash...then again maybe something like that outfit could be more of a formal one for special occasions...or something...

It's only got one fastener, so it would come off pretty quick, especially if it's a snap.

    BATGIRL. BUT MAKE IT FASHION.

Which is entirely correct and overdue. This is a gorgeous design.

I for one am sick of spandex color blocked costumes. Give me a unique silhouette and some drama. Impractical shmimpractical.

Though changing a character's costume often can lead to them not having an "iconic" look...or having one that many fans might not like...
