GrandKaiser- I agree, it IS good to have a thing! As far as your other comment is concerned... Magical powers: fantastic!! Magical houses: super cool!! Magical tools/amulets/etc.: sign me up!! Magical "paninis": come on, man!! You're off the reservation! Paninis, while delicious, can't be magical. It makes no sense, and is an overall ludicrous concept! Justice League also had the "House of Hope."
Madame Xanadu was in a series called "Madame Xanadu's Doorway to Nightmare"
Not sure if this counts but but IIRC Cassandra Craft (sp?) has an occult library on the west coast.
Terrance Thirteen also had his base for watching occult characters where a lot of crazy stuff happened.
Really out on a limb with this one. But in "Multiveersiy" Dame Merciless was either a haunted or at least quite disturbing house.
