Need some help here. I just finished Waid's run on FF & have a question concerning Galactus...

spoilers:

Due to some manipulation from the FF, Galactus is turned back into Galen. After spending some time with the FF, Galen decides to exile himself in another dimension so the "Galactus force" cannot easily find it's way back to him in an attempt to give the universe enough time to invent a way to deter him from planets with sentience.

Is this ever followed up on or is this pretty much ignored? I have checked Galactus' wiki page and some other sites but I cannot find any continuity.

I believe that Galactus, even when hungry should still be very powerful to the extent he can tangle/engage a small group of Celestials and come out triumphant. When he's fed, and depending on how much energy that planet has given him, he should be an equal to his siblings Eternity, Infinity, Death and Oblivion.

I especially didn't like how he was handled by Jason Aaron in the recent Last Days of Midgard arch of Thor: God of Thunder, especially his humiliating defeat. We all know that Galactus has faced and withstood far worse than Gorr's Necrosword. His battles with Tyrant destroyed countless galaxies, Death herself could not keep him from resurrecting himself, and let's not forget how he stood against the forces of the Cancerverse alone.

Marvel seriously needs to give Galactus a lot more respect.

Did Nick Fury whisper "Gorr was right" in Galactus ear as well?

Ah, the Golden Oldie! Or as others call her, the Moldie Goldie Oldie!

I remember her well!

I always wanted a write up on her powers and abilities. Golden Oldie seems almost identical to Herald Nova, but I am not sure.

Recently finished The Kang Dynasty arc from Buisek's Avengers (vol 3). Really good arc, but a tad overstuffed and drawn out. A lot of sidetracks were taken. However, Kang was incredible. I'm surprised Buisek went as far with Kang as he did in this story. Both in terms of the MU but also with what was heppening in the real world at the time.

Could it be possible that Herald Nova was an inspiration for the creation of Golden Oldie's look? I'd looooove for Frankie Raye aka Herald Nova to appear in the MCU post Phase 3
