(It was originally solicited for March 30th, 2022.)

Also, HELLBOY AND THE B.P.R.D.: 1957--FROM BELOW is now listed as "Publication Date: July 12, 2023".
(That one was originally solicited for June 29th, 2022.)

There has to be something with the art or story on those, more than a year late is too much for a simple traffic jam at the printer.

When is that happening?

We're still waiting for the releases this year (in June and July) of two issues originally solicited for release about a year (or more) ago.

They just resolicited the June issue. So I’d assume they are fairly confident about it coming out this time

Well, it's the same date they've shown on the darkhorse.com website since back in early January of this year. Not sure if re-soliciting it will mess up any orders for it placed previously to the re-solicitation or not.
(Is Dark Horse still going through Diamond these days?)

"Your pre-order for Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: 1957--From Below (3003874), which was scheduled to be released on 2023-07-12, has been cancelled. Our order of this item has been cancelled by our supplier, and we unfortunately are unable to obtain it at this time. We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience."

What the hell?

If it's this late, it may be that Dark Horse will re-solicit it for July which may wind up giving it a new order number.

Besides, stores may not want to still be obligated to orders that were originally placed over a year ago.

It's not that unusual for books that are this late, I got the same kind of email for this and waaay back when Frank Millers's All-Star Batman was a thing I got a similar phone call from the shop when #7 came out a year after #6
