Not sure if this is the right place to post this but is it true that newer printings of BPRD 1946 & 1947 no longer have the vol numbers on the spines (vol 9 and vol 13, respectively)? I have the trades up to Vol 11 (BPRD 1946 is numbered) and want to now get Vol 12-14 but would like to get the original numbered version of 1947. Any way to identify the numbered edition online? Also, if they dropped the numbering for the 1946 & 1947 TPBs did they also renumber Vol 10-12 & 14?

No. When the dropped the numbering for Volumes 9 and 13, the others (Volumes 1–8, 10–12, and 14) went out of print. After a trade paperback has been collected in an omnibus edition (in this case the Plague of Frogs omnibuses), the trade is no longer reprinted.

Huh. On the one hand, it is understandable that they don't keep a hundred different version in print. On the other hand, it sucks if you started collecting way back when and want to jump back aboard the train. Thanks for the answer though.

They ran on Bleeding Cool. I don't like sharing links to that toxic website though.
