Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but here I go:
I'm currently indexing all of my Hellboy (and related) books and just for the sake of it I want to list information about the printing # (mostly only for the trade paperbacks and some hardcovers, so not for single issues/floppies.
Since different publishers use different methods I found it impossible to find out on my own just by searching for info online.
Anyone in on how Dark Horse does this?

Thanks as usual! Do we know anything about the Sword of Hyperborea's various time periods? This is probably far off the money, but I thought the critter on the cover of issue 1 looked a lot like one of the later mutants in Hell on Earth lingering around New York. it'd be kind of interesting if the narrative started with one of them picking the sword up after Howards died.
