Default Bunn's "Lobo" finished with Issue #6?

Not grabbed #6 yet, but noticed that there seemed to be no solits for an issue #7 during "Convergence." Has the series been canned already after a single arc?

All the regular books are on hold for two months during Convergence. Lobo resumes in June with everything else.

. . . except for non-New 52 titles and some New 52 books that are having what was suppose to be a March issue pushed into April.

Nice one. Cheers for personally clarifying the details yourself, Cullen. The new version IS growing on me a little. So I'm aboard for the ride.

In all seriousness though, I'm glad to see a Lobo series in The New 52. I might buy the first trade when it's out. Does this new series star the thin, short-haired New 52 Lobo, or the classic 'biker' Lobo?

Thanks Cullen. I really like the New Lobo's design, and look forward to reading the new series.

I think people who deny this design and attitude for Lobo aren't exactly sure what the point of Lobo really is. I believe the point of Lobo is to capture and satirize tropes that other publishers including DC are capitalizing off of, am I correct? In the case of the late 80s, it was the murderous, biking, hairy bulk of a man (pointing obvious fun at some of the popular Marvel characters such as Ghost Rider, Punisher, Wolverine, ect). In the case of the right now it's the sleek, romantic, back-talking snark who has a dark, troubled past. At least that's my theory. If you feel I'm incorrect I apologize, I'm not saying that this incarnation of Lobo is clichy-cliche at all (in fact it is probably the most unique comic out right now), but I find his mannerisms and design seems to appeal and also reinvent the character into the type that a reader with a more open mind about comics, and who understand the idea of Lobo.

And honestly he's not that entirely different from the old Lobo either, he still feels like Lobo, and I love that. I love this book
