Well, dammit, now I'm interested to check this one out...and I like those pages.
Simon Spurrier has yet to steer me wrong when he writes a book, XML and XF has been the best X-titles by far these past MarvelNow years. I'm definitely going to read this. I seriously hope if they bring Excalibur back that he's writing it.
Si Spurrier writing Elsa Bloodstone sounds awesome. I just wish it was something other than Marvel Zombies, which I don't think I could have more antipathy towards.
I'll still probably end up getting up.
Is that Striker from Avengers Academy I see?
He does give wonderful interviews. I'm definitely getting this. I massively enjoyed XML, X-Force and X-Club.
"Self has no time for this."
I always enjoy reading Spurrier's interviews. I enjoyed his X-Force run so I'll be checking this out. Ideally once the post Secret Wars line up gets announced he'll have a book.
. You have to understand what I'm saying here: this is a book whose first act ends with the heroes tacitly accepting that they're going to die. And then -- full of gallows humor and bleak adventurousness -- deciding how they're going to spend the time before the axe falls. It's basically me inflicting some venomous British humor onto Cormac McCarthy's "The Road,"
Spurrier writing Elsa who will be drawn by Walker?
Yes, I'm in.
Always like Spurrier, but most of the art of his Marvel books have been pretty mediocre. Now however, they hooked him with Kev Walker, and these look real fine even in black and white.
Definitely picking this up.
Nice range of Marvel Zombies there, Carnage and Azarel especially sound intimidating.
Still wish there was an explanation why all the Zombies shown so far are villains though, is Doom just throwing would be competition off the wall or are the heroes smart enough not to become undead?
"The original series, written by "Walking Dead" scribe Robert Kirkman"
sorry not nitpicking but it's called THE Walking Dead. NOT walking dead.
It's cool to see Striker again but where is Cullen Bloodstone?
