Default If Nintendo's console support the Achievement system

I wonder why does Nintendo still not have a achievement system, and I made one for <Luigi's Mansion>, which was released on GameCube 2001 Luigi's Mansion_1.jpg Luigi's Mansion_2.jpg Luigi's Mansion_3.jpg

They should have gone with stars.
Nintendo is all about collecting stars.

I think Stamps could be better implemented though, it would be good if you could use your stamps anywhere, cause what good are stamps if you can't show off?

Instead you can only use them in that one miiverse community dedicated to the game, only when you access Miiverse THROUGH the game, just ehh =/

Achievements are bragging rights rewards. They don't add anything to a game.

Do you really need an achievement system to enjoy a game? It's a pointless thing.

I don't need them to enjoy a game, but I still think they're fun little things that I very much enjoy doing and something I do like to see in games.

They can add something. Dead Rising made really good use of the achievements system, it's also really one of the only games I can think of that does. Ideally they should be used as a sort of challenge system, but more often than not they're just something you get playing games normally. I should play Dead Rising again sometime.

If they're pointless but people enjoy them, developers should find a way to make them have a point.
I like that the Ratchet and Clank series basically tied weapon upgrades and cheats to the in game achievements.

Achievements compel me to get more out of a game than I did pre-achievements. I used to go through a game, finish the story and move on.
