    No way!

Dr. Marston and I have the same birthday? I never knew! Cool!

Anyway? Wonder Woman means a lot to me. She's the greatest heroine of them all. When she's written correctly, she's strong, compassionate, and totally fearless. She's an inspiration to women as a symbol of strength and hope for a better future. She's an inspiration to men because, again, when she's written correctly, she treats men with respect and compassion, while still showing them the proper way they should deal with women.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Marston life is so full of stories, a fantastic life. Hard to think a psychologist created one of the biggest heroes, very unexpected

If I remember correctly he wanted a female role model because he saw that comics can teach people.

I know I'm a day late, but happy birthday, Vanguard! You too, WMM!

I like what you say, Vanguard, about what Wonder Woman means; and I'll add that, among other things, she means getting to debate with you all about what she means! I think it's pretty cool that Marston created a character who's not only still inspiring but still thought-provoking--enough so that she can inspire all these strong opinions and arguments--after all these years.

I truly think without Diana we wouldn't have as many great female superheroes today. A shame he died so young
