In Jeff Lemire and Dustin Nguyen's "Descender" #3, Tim-21 has a near-death experience and meets his maker.

I don't like this as much as most other people it seems... still waiting to see if it goes somewhere interesting. Also, 2 typos in the latest (your're and magacosm) that I could find. I'm always surprised, given how little text there is in a comic and how much work goes into it (mostly the art part) that they still manage to have typos almost every issue for image releases.

Which page is the typo? I didn't see anything wrong with any "you're ."

I remember seeing it in my copy too.. "your're"

It's the page after the splash where Tim sees The Harvested. Telsa says it to Dr Quon

Thats one of those typos that twisted me when i read stoned ("theyr er?"). Upon further, more sober reading i have to say, even though it moves slow i really love this book. The art alone will keep me around till the end.

Yeah Im also not liking this book as much as most people, weird because I have loved quite a bit of Lemire's work but this is going nowhere fast.

The watercolor art might be novel and original but it isnt enough to keep me interested.

So with my budget maxed out, Im dropping the book.
