Default a comic artist want ta be

Hi--my name is Sebastien, i’m from Calgary Canada. I’m posting in hope to find a editor who would be willing to give me a part time shot at drawing comics. Been honing my drawing skills since i was a 13 yr old kid. Some of my influence: Mark Bagley, Jim lee, John Romita Jr., Adam Kubert, Travis Charest, Billy Tan, and many more in between. I have attended five comic expos, and received feedback from Jim Zub, Adam Hughes, Keu Cha, Chad Hardin, Jason Fabok. Just sayin (I’m trying here!).

I’m very critical of my work, and continuously look for improvement and refinement in my process. Right not i’m using Frixion pens for thumbnails and roughs. My finish is a mix of col erase blue pencil and a 2H. I use a 10x15” LED light pad which has been super duper. Ink is done with various pens. Scan, clean up in Photoshop and that’s it.

Thanks. I was studying Mark Bagleys awesome first issues of Spider man ultimate over the weekend. I need more dynamic poses in my work. That is my biggest concern over my work.
Some of his panels are three way perspective with a leg here and arm there, very dynamic...pops right out of the page
