What is the most you've paid for a book??

My personal record is from a few years ago, $250 for Miracle Man Olympus Eclipse TPB (not even in HC form and not even displayable on my blog). But I am ready to pay the $500+ for the "a diner with Dave Gibbons" Watchmen Artifact Edition limited to 25 copies.

Now, the question is: how much would you be willing to pay for From Hell: Painfully Limited edition?

Most expensive floppie I got was, if memory serves, a copy of harbinger 0 which I paid about £50 quid for, and this was a long time ago when £50 was a lot of money

Would Omnibus books be considered as paying much? I mean there already expensive to begin with I thought the thread was about really rare vintage comics that people have spent an arm and a leg for.
