Well it sounds like Doom took the fragments of the multiverse and sewed them up into a new world.

So this means Reed's Raft arrives outside Doom's influence. They know what's up. Huh.

Valeria is the daughter of Doom, so it's safe to say Susan is his wife. Ouch. Low blow, Victor. Reed ain't gonna be pleased.

Hickman simply writes Doom the way Doom should be written.

Aside from the unquestioning allegiance thing that all "gods" demand, Doom isn't really doing anything villainous though. He did basically salvage the multiverse. I would be interested in see the how of it though. Did he recreate these people basedon memory or did he pluck them from existance and wipe thier minds. From the looks of Valeria and Sue these characters aren't the same as the ones that died last issue since they are wearing the Future Foundation uniforms from Hickman's run, and Johnny and Ben are noticeably absent. Obviously they could have just changed clothes but, it seems like a pretty conspicuous change.

It's more like a nightmare that he can't wake up from.

Some would agree. I see Doom more as a petty egomaniac.

Well, he is. That's why he's perfectly cast as a god. They always do petty crap whenever they are questioned. The whole thing about trying to quarantine things that cast doubt is out of God Basics 101.

She was originally. This is in no way surprising.

I don't know why but I'm getting a major House of M vibe from this title. If you’re a lover of world building and a great mystery this issue is for you. There’s plenty to uncover here as we enter a brand new world and it’s fascinating to unpeel this onion.

I wrote a full review with a bunch of pictures here if anyone is interested in reading it.

Pretty psyched Dr. Strange works for the bad guy. I wonder how Doom pulled that off since Strange was there with him. Anyone else getting a Judge Dredd vibe from these Justice Mjolner guys?

My question is why the heck Doom even saved things like Ultron and the zomibies. Surely someone as smart as him could come up with some way to punish people that wasn't always trying to break containment and a constant threat to everyone on the chance that they do. Having them around just strikes me as a bad idea.

He had one eye so I'm assuming on Battleworld Odin is Thor, as confusing as that is. But I also thought maybe he was a mashup of Odin and Mythical Thor since he has a red beard.
