You mean like all studios putting out all movies on digital platforms at release? Yeah, thats not gonna happen. Too much money to be lost, especially with the films which had a huge budget. Its premature to make such a drastic change like that

I suppose New Mutants can moved their date to Oct of this year due to Venom moving and Tenet refusing to move it's release date.

Texas is allowing theaters to reopen this Friday at 25% capacity, but none of the major chains will be reopening any time soon:

The big limiting factor for the chains is lack of movies to show, so studios are going to need to determine when they will start putting out movies. Christopher Nolan’s Tenet is on the schedule for July 17 and that's the first major release. Probably a late June/early July opening for the major chains is possible, but the studios may wait to see how this sort of soft-launch goes with some independent theaters opening in Georgia and Oklahoma.

But if New Mutants does get a release date in June or July, anyone want to beat that's the day the next lockdown happens because this movie is entirely jinxed?
