I've been trying to like this series, but as with the previous volume, I find it a bloated read -- too many elements. Even Acuna's usually dependable art was wanting in this issue. I don't see how this series can survive the mutant exodus, so maybe it's just as well.
Haven't liked this volume nearly as much as last volume. 4 issues in and I'm still meh about it and buying it only in hopes it turns around - not because I'm currently enjoying it. I'll blame Duggan for having a part in this. Remender is too good to be this boring. He's doing too much though so I imagine he has the hack doing most of the script, unfortunately.

It's really sad. This volume just, I agree..since page one it's been off. Maybe a lot of what he planned had to be cut because of Secret Wars, or he's finally hitting his burn out level of writing too much. His Image stuff alone would be enough for most writers to have to keep up with. Again, though. Duggan is co-writing it and I can't stand the Chuck Austen of the 2010's so I'll lay blame on him before anything lol. Regardless to who or why, it's definitely been a bitch to get through.
