    Default Obscure continuity question for 70's Spider-Man

    So, I've been tanking through Spidey's continuity via this list:

    For reference, I just read Spider-Man Annual #10. So, lately they've been referring to Peter as a freelancer again. My question is, when did he lose his job as a staff photographer? Did I skip over that issue? Or was it just never mentioned?

    This would be about a third of the way through Len Wein's run of Amazing Spider-Man. Apparently it came out between Amazing Spider-Man #159 and #160.

    Was Peter even a staff photographer at that point?
