Happy that the howling Commandos will continue, even if mrs. Deadpool does as well; as for A-force, I like the overall concept, but I'd like to see a different team take shape. I'm not sure yet which other characters I'd like to see continue from this event, except maybe Warrior Woman from Squadron Sinister.

I know I would definitely like all of the Spider-Man family from Renew Your Vows to survive, though if we have to pick just one element I guess it'll be Anne, maybe having 616 Peter attempting to raise her with some help from MJ. Maestro being around is good, though I think Hulk will need to become a bit more heroic again to make a good counter to him. And more Ultimate types than just Miles or Fury, certainly.

For me, the Hulk has never been interesting unless both the Banner and Hulk characters are present (whichever version of the Hulk personality it happens to be). It's the conflict between the two that makes the Hulk unique.

Friedfeld was less forthcoming on one particular carryover from "Secret Wars." He teased that a "new team of survivors from dead universes" will rise from the ashes of the event, though exactly who will comprise the team was kept confidential. However, it was revealed that these characters will have their own books (plural) and would appear in other on-going series as well.

So Miles Morales (and others) will be our new Wolverine...

Readers should note that Peter David already brought the Maestro back in Spider-Man 2099 #9-10. He time-traveled from the future back to the present day. Whether the Maestro in Secret Wars and beyond is the same guy from Spidey 2099 remains to be seen, but I am guessing that PAD is just picking up from that thread.

Really hoping something of 2099 keeps going after Secret Wars. I thought Spider-Man was selling pretty well? Would love to Spider-Man continue and maybe even another title in 2099 when the dust settles.

Well, we knew from the beginning that it would have survivors after all this, both in characters and realities. One thing for sure, if there's ONE single reality that have to survive and be restore after Secret Wars, that's MC2 and Spider-Girl. Everything else, I can accept it.

I suppose the elements that will be destroyed and they will go with Battleworld will be mostly the "apocaliptic lands". I mean, Marvel Zombies, Age of Ultron and the Annihilation Wade are too dangerous; unless you imprison them together in one single dimension forcing them to fight between them for all eternity, away from the other realities. I suppose that other realities destroyed will be "Age of Apocalypse", "Days of Future Past" and "Old Man Logan". Some of their characters will survive, without a doubt, but their worlds will be clearly destroyed.

Also, to save the most things possible, that's why I believe some characters will be merged; like Galactus and Gah Lak Tus.

But Maestro is also in secret wars and his own book. They will likely follow that.

Plus, isn't what happened in the Spidey 2099 book before Secret Wars? It could just mean Maestro was around for the Incursion.

Going by what the writer has said, it seems the core team will be the same. Which is a good thing, the line up works fine as it is and it's way to soon to change it.
