This is just sounding like more and more of a mess. Maybe I'm just not "getting it" conceptually yet. But, I was hoping that after enduring one more flip-the-table event that there would finally be some consistency and stability on the other side. But instead, it sounds like it's just going to be a mess ... perpetually.

I mean, how does one of my favorite heroes, Daredevil, maintain relevance as a street-level fighter in a universe that seems based on a perpetually universe-level perspective?

"Hey, it's the people from the other world invading again." "Oh, then I guess this mugger isn't all that important. I'll take my billy club and go home."

Just because there will be more "Out-Of-This-World" elements in the post-SW universe doesn't mean that heroes who operate on smaller scales will become obsolete.

But that's stupid. I mean, for awhile it would be cool, but having it stay that way for more than a few months/a year would really suck.

I don't think they are just returning to the 616 and the same characters. Some might be the same others might be completely different,others slightly different, and others amalgams. I think the 616 is gone and this is a new Earth. Many people don't want to seem to accept that

Really hoping something of 2099 keeps going after Secret Wars. I thought Spider-Man was selling pretty well? Would love to Spider-Man continue and maybe even another title in 2099 when the dust settles.

Comichron has SM2099 10 as above 30,000 sold. So it should've been doing really well.
