I picked up the new Cheap Trick CD*We're All Alright! yesterday.

Today I picked up Triumph's*Allied Forces on vinyl. The first time I've ever owned anything from the band.

I also picked up 6 new cassettes. Three of them are still in the original cellophane wrapping. Those ones are:

John Parr -*Running The Endless Mile
    Laura Branigan - Touch
John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band -*Roadhouse

The other three cassettes I picked up were:

Artch -*Another Return To Church Hill
    Vicious Rumors -*S/T
Vicious Rumors -*Welcome To The Ball (which I discovered had been apparently signed by singer Carl Albert)

I used some of the money I made on eBay to pick up two Rock Candy reissues:

    Quiet Riot - Metal Health
    L.A. Guns - L.A. Guns

And the local FYE announced it is closing in February. They are doing a 30-50% off sale and while they have long since ceased to be a music first store, I did find four albums on the cheap to fill in holes in my collection.

Cyndi Lauper - She's So Unusual
    Exodus - Fabulous Disaster
Ozzy Osbourne - No Rest For The Wicked (Reissue)
Kiss - Creatures of the Night (The Remasters series)

In terms of finding releases specifically put out for Record Store Day today, it was a bit of a bust. There really wasn't anything I wanted to buy.

So instead I got a few CDs and some cassettes from the two stores that I stopped at.

First off though I got the new Leather album II in the mail today from Divebomb Records.

My first stop was at Purchase Street Records, which is owned by a friend of mine.

I got 2 CDs: Tyr's Valkyrja and Bob Seger's Night Moves. I got the Tyr album because a friend of mine has been nagging me to give the band a listen.

The cassettes I picked up were:

Bob Seger's Against The Wind and Nine Tonight
Lizzy Borden - Menace To Society
Huey Lewis and the News - Fore!
    .38 Special - Special Forces

My second stop was at one of the Newbury Comics locations. They're moving after tomorrow so this was their last "event" in the old place. Like I said, there really wasn't anything I wanted from the RSD offerings so I did a quick look through their CDs and ended up getting the Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa Live In Amsterdam and Warrant Louder Harder Faster albums.
