It's also cool that Brendan McCarthy, legendary British comics artist with plenty of work with Peter Milligan, Grant Morrison, and Vertigo in general, co-wrote, designed, and storyboarded Fury Road.

Some years before that, we almost had a Flash movie starred by Ryan Reinolds, and a Green Lantern starred by Jack Black. (Seriously)

No doubt that this could have been cool, but I'm kinda glad it didn't go forward; WB had no idea about anything for a while. That movie could have worked only for the DCCU to be ruined a year later.

(But I'm a little bit torn, because that movie would, in theory, cement Wally as the Flash. Oh, well ....)
