It must be the invisible jet. How do people feel about the Jet? I mean many dislike it due to the fact she can fly but when we think about it it can be also good for carrying large groups and other things. In space. It's great so I think she should keep it. Amazon already has had this for pre order. It comes out the same day has by birthday

Art looks really beautiful. I just hope Morrison doesn't f*** this up.

I'm sad because this means we probably won't see volume 2 for a good while.

Do we need a Volume Two?

This is the thing, here, isn't it?

I think I'm going to see how volume one turns out before I start wanting volume two.

I'm going to be so sad if this isn't good.

I hadn't even considered the possibility of a volume two. I mean, hasn't this first release been in the works for like five years? Thinking about a volume two seems like getting way ahead of oneself.

I like the Jet. I like things are that are unique to WW.

I only support the made of clay origin.

Batman and superman has multiple volumes, but morrison and paquette are very slow and I don't remember Morrison talking about a continuation

    It's slated for a Nov 10 2015 release.

I'm not sure it's about slow (they both can turn out a monthly book), as it is that they're deliberately taking time with this comic. Time for planning, time for drafts, refinement.

Pretty sure they are looking at it as a done in one OGN, in any case.

    Congratulations to Paquette!

I'm hoping this is good (ie, to my liking), but, to be honest, I'm still not sure if I should be more excited or worried. Morrison is hit or miss for me.

And if this is a 1 and done, maybe they shouldn't call it Earth 1 and, instead, save the name for another creative team that could do an ongoing similar to Superman and Batman.

    They could, but branding.

It's sure to have a "proper" title inside the comic, in any case. I almost always prefer Morrison's story titles to his issue titles.

Way back in 2013 Morrison referred to this as the "first book":

Grant Morrison Talks DC Comics, Being a Rock Star in the Comics World, and His Take on Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Multiversity
I’m working on a new Wonder Woman book with Yanick Paquette, where Hercules dies. Hippolyta, the Queen of the Amazons, and the women have been chained up and are being controlled by Hercules and his men. It’s part of the Greek legend. And she finally turns on him and gets those chains around his neck, where they belong. The first book is going to be 120 pages. Diana is the main character, but we wanted to give a little bit of service to all of the stuff that actually happened in the original myth where Hercules captured the Amazons and subjected them to all kinds of tortures, so the first 15 pages of our book deal with that. It’s a big ladies-kick-ass thing.
To me that's a clear indication that sequels were planned but since the interview was 2 years ago who knows what the plan is now.

    Great Hera and Praise Zeus!
Fav Wonder Woman traits: Strength, Compassion, Love...never holds a petty grudge. Xo
