Default PREVIEW: Chilling Adventures of Sabrina #3

It's the night before Halloween, the night before Sabrina's sixteenth birthday, the night of the blood-moon and the lunar eclipse, and Sabrina has made her decision: She will go into the woods of Greendale as a half-witch and emerge...on the other side of a frightful ritual...as a fully baptized member of the Church of Night. But there will be a cost, and his name is Harvey. And unbeknownst to Sabrina and her aunts, there is a serpent in the garden, their great enemy Madam Satan, who is conspiring against them...
    For TEEN+ readers.

Finally got to read this, surprised at how far they went with the whole devil worship thing. This kinda makes Hilda and Zelda look like monsters for indoctrinating Sabrina into this cult since she was a child...

Horn dog Harvey and Madam Satan's interactions were hilarious, though. It's amazing how this book can find the balance between the horribly dark stuff and the teenage shenanigans.

This is just my opinion, but, it wasn't like Sabrina refused to go along with the indoctrination, that would've made Hilda and Zelda monsters. But since Sabrina was a willing participant, her aunts could be seen in a different light as teachers, it's just that what they taught was ugly stuff.

Horn dog Harvey. HA! All too true since he was hot to get in Sabrina's pants. Meanwhile, Madam Satan is shaping up to be quite the villainess. And that cliffhanger! Whoa! Can't wait for the next issue!

She really had no reason to distrust her family and this whole devil worshiping deal has been presented to her in such an everyday basis her entire life. Would she really know any better?

Harvey's reaction should come as a bit of a wake up call, I hope. When your boyfriend finds you covered in goat blood signing your name in the devil's maiden book, you might want to take another look at what you're doing...
